Brendan McCollam

President and co-owner of The McCollam Agency. I have been in the business since fall of 1987 spanning over 3 decades plus! I primarily focus on Agency operations and carrier relationships while also specializing in personal lines. I am a proud third generation owner of the Agency and find the ever-changing world of insurance to be infuriating at times but far more rewarding when you can solve client dilemmas.

I believe in giving back thru philanthropy and quiet community service. Having served on numerous Boards and committees over the years. I also enjoy coaching youth sports, primarily ice hockey, and have served four high schools in that role as well as a local youth organization in the role of coach and co-president.

I was born and bred in Bethel and now reside in New Fairfield with my wife Erin and family of four Hannah, Brigid, Madeline, and Garrett. Although 3 are now college grads and 2 are married and out of the house the 3rd is adjusting to work life while the last is enjoying his college years. We enjoy skiing, boating, and traveling as a family as well as our beloved Giants football.
